Maura Rupp, MSW, LSW, LCSW
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my goal is to assist people in addressing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a healthy way. I work to assist people who are navigating through the dynamics which may cause them to feel “stuck”, personally or professionally. My goal is to help you to build a plan specifically tailored to you: your needs, wants, objectives, and experiences.
I obtained my Master of Social Work from West Chester University, and have many years of experience working in mental health. I have worked in both residential, and out patient levels of care. I also have several years of experience in the addictions and recovery settings.
I specialize in working with individuals who are addressing their anxiety needs (such as trauma and trauma impact, PTSD, physical/emotional anxiety needs, career stress and burnout, and stress management tools), their relationship/family dynamics (such as establishing healthy relationship/family dynamics, addressing the impact of high/low/no contact with family, engaging with high-stress multigenerational dynamics, addressing the needs associated with domestic violence, and addressing the impact of leaving a high control organization - both religious and non-religious), chronic pain/chronic illness and their impact (on personal and professional life, the impact of chronic pain or chronic illness on overall relationship dynamics with friends and family) and goal setting (for both personal and professional development).
My approach is strength-based and client centered. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I am LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and welcome all. I believe in giving people tools that they can take home, research, practice, personalize, and use. Ultimately, my goal is to assist individuals in building the life that they wish to live. If you choose to work with me, I look forward to entering into this journey with you.
